Some of the questions that we receive frequent like.

  • WHAT KIND OF DRAWINGS CAN I CREATE IN THE WIRECAD TEAM PORTAL

    Drawings can be dwg, or pdf. They are created in WireCAD and published as a project to the WireCAD Team Portal for viewing and redlining.

  • WHAT DATA ACCOMPANIES MY DRAWINGS?

    Your full project is exported to the portal, so you will have your equipment lists, cables, etc.

  • ARE MY REPORTS EXPORTED?

    Not yet. We are looking in to how to do this.

  • WHAT DO YOU MEAN "IF YOUR ASSURANCE IS CURRENT - YOUR TEAM IS FREE"?

    Just that. If you have current WireCAD Assurance then there is no additional cost to use the basic portal.

  • HOW CAN IT BE FREE?

    We do have costs to run the portal and have tried to create something that is useful for free, but that you will outgrow and need to upgrade to paid functionality.

  • HOW MANY ACTIVE PROJECTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE BASE VERSION?

    This depends on your WireCAD product level: XLT = 1, PRO = 2 and CMS = 3 Active Projects are included in your base subscription.

  • WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "ACTIVE" PROJECT?

    Projects can be active or archived. Only active projects are counted. Archived projects appear in your Projects List but cannot be accessed.

  • I HAVE TWO PRO KEYS, DOES THAT MEAN THAT I HAVE 4 PROJECTS IN THE BASE SUBSCRIPTION?

    Maybe. If you have the license count consolidated onto one key, then you will have 1 team with 4 projects. If not. You will have the ability to create 2 teams with 2 projects each. Contact us if you have questions.

  • HOW MANY TEAM MEMBERS ARE INCLUDED IN THE BASE VERSION?

    5 additional team members are included. You can purchase addons to increase capacity.

  • HOW MUCH DRIVE SPACE IS INCLUDED IN THE BASE VERSION?

    1 GiB. You can purchase addons to increase capacity.

  • CAN I CHANGE PLANS AT ANY TIME?

    Maybe. You can upgrade anytime. Downgrading may be restricted by your current number of active projects and/or drive space usage.

  • IF I CANCEL HOW LONG WILL YOU KEEP MY DATA?

    If you cancel your subscription we purge your data. If you want us to hang on to your data, just access it once a year. If you don't we will remind you. If you ignore the reminder we will purge your data.

  • WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

    Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We do not accept PayPal. If your organization does not allow credit card payments, send us a Purchase Order and we will invoice you, or take an order over the phone.
